Booking
It is essential to book in advance. Bookings must be received at least four days before a retreat, and places can only be confirmed on receipt of a completed booking form and full payment, or a deposit of 50% of the retreat fee.
Catering
Unless otherwise stated, weekend retreats include lunch and supper on Saturday and lunch on Sunday, and the cost is included in the retreat fee. Meals are vegetarian. Breakfast is self catering. We recommend that those staying on site bring breakfast supplies with them as the nearest shops are five miles away.
Registration
Unless otherwise stated, registration takes place an hour before the start of each event, and again at lunchtime on the first day.

We accept payment by cheques and bank drafts (drawn on Irish Banks only), postal orders, credit card, and bank transfers (from outside Ireland only):

Accommodation
On Site
A small number of dormitory beds are available in our hostel and occasionally shared cottage accommodation is also available. Telephone Dzogchen Beara to check availability before returning your form.

Off Site
Please download the list of accommodation in the local area (see the bottom of this page). We are unable to provide daily transport to and from Dzogchen Beara for those staying off-site, but if you do not have a car we will do our best to arrange car sharing with other retreat participants.
Medical
Please note that there are no medical facilities or staff on site. The local doctor is in Castletownbere, 5 miles away. The nearest hospitals are in Bantry (30 miles), and Cork (90 miles). If you have a serious medical condition (for example asthma, serious allergy to bee stings, heart condition) please inform a member of staff during registration. If you are taking prescribed medication we ask that you continue to take it while you are here. Ensure that you have adequate medical insurance for your stay.
Psychotherapy
Retreats are based on Tibetan Buddhist teachings and are not intended as a substitute for psychotherapy. If you have a psychological or psychiatric condition we ask that you consult your therapist before applying, as we have no facilities to provide appropriate care if needed.
