From Castletownbere to Dzogchen Beara

Bus: Route 232 Route 232

Cost: Single Adult ticket costs €3

There is now a new bus route (Route 232) that will drop you at the driveway to Dzogchen Beara. The route will operate 4 daily return services, 7 days a week. You can take this 15 minute bus ride from Castletownbere (Fire Station) and ask the driver to let you off at Dzogchen Beara. After you get off the bus there is a short 10 minutes walk to the Centre.

Whichever way you drive take your time and relax. If you hurry you will take just as long, or probably longer, and you will miss some stunning scenery. West Cork is renowned for its magnificent mountain scenery and Wild Atlantic Way coastline, and is something that shouldn’t be missed. Dzogchen Beara is located 5 miles west of Castletownbere on the Allihies road.
