Awake

Spring Meditation Retreat with Kirsten DeLeo
Tuesday March 28, 11am to Thursday March 30, 1pm

For beginners and anyone who likes to give their meditation practice a boost.

Spring is a great time to make a fresh start. Meditation is a down-to-earth and practical resource. It helps us stay sane, feel more in touch with ourselves, connected with others and awake in our lives.

This restorative meditation retreat focuses on how we can better deal with anxiety, stress and distractions, and stay more grounded, spacious and kind.

Each day will include:

  • short teachings and discussions
  • sitting and walking meditations
  • periods of silence
  • gentle mindfulness movements
  • time for rest and relaxation

There is the possibility of personal interviews to clarify practice questions. After the retreat, participants will receive recorded meditations to inspire their meditation practice at home.

“This retreat gave me the courage to let go of the past and the fear of the future.”
“As a beginner to meditation and mindfulness, Awake has been an enlightening experience and I look forward to bringing what I learned back home.”
“Awake is not just a guide to meditation, but important for life.”

The retreat will be held in our clifftop shrine room, with floor-to-ceiling windows offering spectacular ocean views.
