Resting in the heart of compassion we hold a truly safe container in which real communication can happen. This way of listening transforms our interactions to provide potential for deep healing in personal relationships and also within communities.

Who is this for?
This six session experiential and interactive online event is designed for anyone using listening in his or her life or work who would like to extend the power of compassionate listening.

Topics include:

  • Holding safe non-judgmental space for communication
  • Compassionate listening in different situations
  • Kindness towards myself and towards others
  • Listening in challenging interactions
  • Taking time to connect with myself

What to expect during the event

  • Guided meditations and reflections
  • Listening Circles for sharing
  • Exercises in pairs and triads in break out rooms
  • Discussion with time for feedback, questions and answers.

People are asked to make time to attend all sessions.

There are six online sessions across three days with a short break halfway through each session.

Rosamund Oliver
Rosamund OliverInternational Trainer
Rosamund Oliver, BA, Dip Psych, ECP, is an international trainer who founded and developed the Deep Listening Training method in Ireland with other trainers. As a UKCP psychotherapist and supervisor, she worked with private clients and with the elderly in
psychiatric care for a number of years. Her education work includes teaching stress reduction to nurses at hospices, creating a prison meditation project and
introducing spiritual care and contemplative ideas to a wide variety of people. She works in Ireland, Germany, Holland, UK and Spain, and also teaches Deep
Listening Training on university courses. For over 40 years, she has studied how to apply Buddhist meditation and philosophy with many different teachers and she is still learning.
