Natural Great Peace
with Olivier Riche, Veronica Nicholson and Andrew Warr
Friday 24 November, 11am to Thursday 30 November, 1pm
This retreat is specifically designed for those with some experience of meditation, willing to commit to an intensive practice retreat including several days in silence.
Practising meditation in a retreat environment is a special opportunity to refine our practice, enhance our understanding and simply enjoy a taste of the peace of mind and deep sense of well being that meditation brings.
The retreat will include
- In-depth meditation instruction based on the Tibetan Buddhist tradition
- Guidance & clarification through questions/answers with experienced meditation instructors
- Inspirational video teachings on meditation by leading contemporary teachers
- Extended periods of meditation (about 4 hours per day)
- Walking meditation
- Sessions focusing on how to integrate our practice in daily life,
- and optional participation in daily Loving Kindness practice.
Also included are optional Kum Nye (Tibetan Yoga) sessions led by Matt Padwick, to energise and harmonise mind and body.
Please note that much of the retreat is conducted in silence.
This is a 7-day retreat, please register only if you can attend the full week.
“Thank you to all the staff and volunteers, this retreat has changed my life ” (Aishling)
