This is not always easy\, because our ordinary models for relationships often fail us and our worldly responsibilities seem to conflict with our spiritual aspirations. As a wife\, mother\, and teacher\, Lama Tsering will discuss how our interactions with others can provide opportunities for reflection\, selflessness\, and the maturing of spiritual qualities. \nIn our intimacy with others there can be many opportunities for reflection\, for true selflessness\, and for the maturing of genuine spiritual qualities. One’s ability to love and care for all living beings can begin at home. \nIn the warm\, direct\, and humorous manner for which she is known\, Lama Tsering Everest will discuss how to make relationships an important element of spiritual growth. \nLocation\nThe retreat will be held in our newly opened Temple\, which is a modern example of a traditional Tibetan monastery designed to be an inspiring symbol of the Buddha’s teachings for our times.
