The Joy of Simplicity

Weekend Retreat with Susan Browne
Friday 14 October, 7.30pm to Sunday 16 October, 1pm

Many of us today find that we are fragmented into different aspects. So many contradictory voices, dictates, and feelings fight for control over our inner lives that we find ourselves scattered everywhere, in all directions. We have lost the sense of being.

During this weekend retreat, the focus will be on meditation practice as a way to savour the uniqueness of each moment and rediscover the joy of simply being.

The sessions will include instruction, guided meditations, time to reflect and discuss how we can apply this in our day to day life, into the complex world we find ourselves in.

“Meditation could be said to be the Art of Simplicity: simply sitting, simply breathing and simply being. “ -Dilgo Khyentse Rinpoche

The retreat will be held in our clifftop shrine room, with floor-to-ceiling windows offering spectacular ocean views.
