This policy applies to both cancellations and changes to existing bookings.
Accommodation bookings include stays in the Spiritual Care Centre, Cottages and Hostel. Please note that events must be cancelled before they begin.
Onsite Events, Accommodation, and Group Bookings
Cancellation fees apply when a booking is cancelled or rescheduled.
- Less than 2 working days before arrival: No refund.
- 3–10 working days before arrival: 50% of the total fee is charged.
- 10–15 working days before arrival: 25% of the total fee is charged.
- More than 15 working days before arrival: A €25 administration fee applies.
If you prefer, you may choose to receive a Dzogchen Beara Gift Card (minus a €25 administration fee), which can be used for a future retreat or accommodation booking.Hostel dormitory stays (non-event bookings):
10% of the total fee will be charged, up to a maximum of €25.
One-Day or Half-Day Events
- Less than 2 working days before the event: No refund.
- More than 15 working days before the event: A €5 administration fee applies.
Online Events
Cancellations for online retreats incur a 10% administration fee.
Severe Weather
If your travel is affected by a Red Weather Warning issued by Met Éireann, we will transfer your booking to alternative dates within 12 months.
Please note that a price difference may apply if the new dates fall within a higher-priced season.
Lunch Bookings
Lunch reservations or cancellations must be made before the day of the lunch, or booked together with your accommodation reservation.
Lunch payments made on the day are non-refundable and cannot be transferred to any outstanding balance.
Compassionate exceptions
If you need to cancel due to serious illness, bereavement, or other exceptional circumstances, please contact us as soon as possible. Compassionate refunds may be considered on a case-by-case basis.
Gift Cards
Dzogchen Beara Gift Cards are non-refundable and valid for five years from the date of issue.
