Every year we need to fundraise, to keep our retreat fees as low as possible (our dream is to offer all retreats on a donation basis), to offer financial assistance to those on low incomes to come to Dzogchen Beara, to maintain our buildings in this inspiring yet punishing marine environment, to care for the land, and to support our resident community who observe a daily schedule of meditation and prayer, and who welcome everyone with warmth and respect, all year round.

Every donation to the Dzogchen Beara Annual Fund contributes to care for this unique place and planning for projects for the future—such as moving towards carbon neutrality, improving our drinking water supply, and creating the necessary infrastructure – including underground reservoirs for firefighting and improved sewage treatment – to allow us to expand our accommodation, so that more people can benefit from Dzogchen Beara.
