Loving Kindness Week

Discovering the True Nature of Love
with Andrew Warr, Anne Sheehan and Derek Corr
Saturday 8 February, 7pm to Saturday 15 February, 1pm 2025

When our hearts and minds are filled with love we naturally experience happiness and well-being, yet many of us feel a poverty of love, which we may experience as either feeling unloved or not being able to love others as fully as we would wish.

Loving Kindness meditation is a method that helps us to develop unconditional love, starting with developing a healthy and loving relationship with ourselves and then extending out into all our relationships and ultimately to all beings.

Content

  • Ways to evoke the natural love we all have within us
  • Learning to be our own best friend
  • What does it mean to have love for those we have difficulty with
  • Providing an effective methodology in the form of Loving kindness meditation
  • Moving toward a universal love while also treasuring our near and dear ones
  • Showing how this meditation can be transformative in our daily life even in the most mundane or challenging situations
