More than we Think

A Weekend Retreat to Explore the Mind and Heart

Meditation is far more than a relaxation technique. It has the power to transform the way we see ourselves, others and the world around us. Meditation helps us connect more deeply with ourselves, meet our emotions with greater awareness and love, and find the resilience to meet anything with more presence, awareness and spaciousness.

Whether you are new to meditation or already have experience, this weekend offers the chance to pause and discover your own inner landscape. Drawing on the Mahayana tradition of Tibetan Buddhism, meditation is based on understanding that our minds are inherently clear and open. Wisdom, compassion, and inner peace are already within us—we simply need to uncover them.

Through regular practice, we learn to be less dominated by external distractions and internal streams of thoughts. We discover a new way of meeting thoughts and emotions—with openness, clarity, and ease in every moment.

Location

The retreat will be held in our newly opened Temple, which is a modern example of a traditional Tibetan monastery designed to be an inspiring symbol of the Buddha’s teachings for our times.
