Preparing for the Temple Inauguration

This July we will welcome His Holiness Sakya Gongma Trichen and His Holiness the 43rd Sakya Trizin to inaugurate the Dzogchen Beara Temple. As we prepare for this historic visit, we are completing the temple’s sacred decoration, bringing sacred ritual items from India, and landscaping the stupa grounds. This work, as well as the transport and hosting of the lamas and guests, with the costs of the inauguration, requires urgent funding, and we warmly invite your support to help us to prepare and bring the temple to its full beauty in time for this extraordinary event.

Names offered in the dedication box with your donation will be added to a scroll of donors to be enshrined in the Temple by His Holiness Sakya Gongma Trichen.

Making Offerings for the Temple Inauguration

His Holiness Sakya Gongma Trichen with His Holiness the 43rd Sakya Trizin and their attendant monks will be at Dzogchen Beara for three full days of practice and empowerments in July, including the temple inauguration, showering blessings for the world and all sentient beings. Every day we will be making abundant offerings of flowers, lights and tsok. You are warmly invited to contribute towards these generous offerings. Help Sustain the Spiritual Heart of Dzogchen Beara

Dzogchen Beara is more than a place—it is a spiritual home that has at its heart a resident community of practitioners who sustain a continuous year-round rhythm of meditation, prayer, and Buddhist practice, for the benefit of all beings. Much of what visitors experience here—the stillness, warmth, and sense of being held—arises from their steady, often unseen presence, their dedicated service offered quietly, day after day, without expectation of recognition.

We invite you to support this community. Your donation of any size will directly provide for their simple needs, including accommodation, food, and a modest living allowance, helping ensure Dzogchen Beara remains a place of refuge, practice, and spiritual nourishment for all.
