• Cork Airport
  Direct flights from some european cities including London Heathrow, Paris and Amsterdam, with Aer Lingus. Direct flights from London Stanstead with Ryan Air. Direct flights from several UK cities such as Manchester and Cardiff with Aer Arran and bmibaby. It is approximately 5km from the airport to the city centre. There is a regular bus-link to the city centre, and a taxi service. The journey takes from 15 to 25 minutes, depending on traffic.
• Dublin Airport
  Direct flights from many international cities. Either book an onwards flight to Cork, or travel across Dublin and get a train (from Dublin Huston) or a bus (from Connolly Street Bus Station check) to Cork.
• Shannon Airport
  Flights from the U.S.A. Shannon is a 6 hour drive from Dzogchen Beara. There is no direct public transport to Castletownbere, take a bus or train to Cork.
• Kerry (Farranfore) Airport
  Direct flights to London Stanstead and Frankfurt-hahn with Ryan Air. A 2 hour drive from Dzogchen Beara. There is no direct public transport to Castletownbere. Take a bus to Cork.

By Sea

  This service was re-opened in March 2010 and can save visitors from UK up to 600 miles of driving on a return trip compared to the Rosslare to Fishguard/Pembroke route.
